BLS for Healthcare Providers

This course is designed to enhance the health care professionals' understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation.
The course covers adult and pediatric CPR, special resuscitation situations, AED use, relieving choking, two-rescuer scenarios and the use of a bag-valve mask.
It is intended for a wide range of medical professionals including physicians, nurses, nursing students, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, and others.
This is a moderately strenuous course and participants should be in good physical health able to perform all aspects of CPR.
This course takes approximately 5 hours to complete.
