How to Read Your Water Meter

Locate the inside of your water meter.
Record the first four numbers, left to right, from the top face of the meter(s)*

Locate your outside remote register.
Record the first four numbers from the front face of the register(s)*

 This is reading 5986

use the boxes below to record the numbers on your inside and outside water meters. Also provide the date that you read the meters.

*If you have sewer Auxiliary Meter, readings from both water and sewer meters must be provided.

Please note, if your water meter was recently upgraded, it will not have a meter face. These newer meters communicate electronically and do not require checking.
