Fluoride

Fluoride is added to Columbus' drinking water as required by the State of Ohio since the early 1970's.

The fluoride concentration in Columbus water has averaged 0.9 part per million (ppm), which is below the allowed limit of 4 ppm.

View the current year's "Consumer Confidence Report" which shows the types and amounts of key elements in your drinking water, their likely sources and the maximum contaminant level (MCL) that is considered safe. The water delivered to your home meets all of the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA).
