Details: On August 29, 2023, at 6:05am, radio received a call about a possible deceased person in the 1400 block of Berkeley Rd. Officers responded and located the victim, Shannon, Hiott F/W/29, unresponsive inside of her residence, suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim was pronounced deceased by CFD Medics at 6:18am. The suspect, Chance Donohoe M/W/26, turned himself into officers, where he admitted to his role in the death of the victim. The suspect was charged with murder and transported to the Franklin County Jail.

Details: On August 27, 2023, at approximately 6:14pm, officers were dispatched to the area of the 200 Block of Easton Town Center, on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived at scene and found victim # 1 suffering from a gunshot wound. Officer performed aid until CFD Medic # 61 arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital. Despite receiving lifesaving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased at 6:50pm. Two individuals involved in this incident have been charged and arrested. The identification of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Details: On Saturday, August 26th, 2023, at 2:23PM, Columbus Police Officers were called to a business located in the 1500 block of Schrock Rd. on a report of a shooting. On arrival, officers found Nathaniel Joe-Summerall, 19, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Engine 6 responded and pronounced Joe-Summerall deceased at scene at 2:32PM. A short time thereafter, a second adult who had also been shot, arrived at Riverside Hospital by private conveyance.

Upon arrival, officers found one victim, identified as ALEJANDRO FAJARDO-TORRES, M/H/43, suffering from gunshot wounds. Columbus Fire medics pronounced FAJARDO-TORRES deceased at 5:19 PM. A second victim, identified as ADULT #2, was suffering from a blunt-force trauma injury. Westerville Fire medics transported ADULT #2 to a local hospital in stable condition.

Officers arrived at scene and found the victim, Mr. Shermaine Upshaw, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Clinton Township Fire Medic #61 personnel pronounced Mr. Upshaw deceased at scene.

Details: On August 12, 2023, at approximately 1:44am, officers were dispatched to the 2400 Block of Daily Rd on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived at scene and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Columbus Fire Medic #183 transported the victim to a local hospital, in critical condition. Due to the severity of the victim's injury, the Columbus Police Homicide Unit is investigating this incident. Detectives were able to identify the suspect and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. On August 18, 2923, the victim in this incident died as a result of his injury. Detectives have issued a Murder warrant for the suspect.

On arrival, officers found Ali Dirir, 23, and Asia Mussa, 22, seated in a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid to both victims until medics arrived. Dirir and Mussa were both transported to Riverside hospital in critical condition where Mussa was pronounced deceased at 6:49PM and Dirir at 9:30PM.

Columbus and Madison Township Fire medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at 7:17 PM.

Details: Officers responded to a report of a Robbery/Home Invasion. As officers arrived at the scene they found one adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. CFD Medics pronounced the man deceased. Before the suspects fled from the scene they physically assualted another one of the adult victims, who was treated and released from a local hospital. There was a fourth victim at scene who was not injured and is being identified as a Juvenile.

Upon arrival, the officers located a victim, ADULT #1, suffering from a gunshot wound. Columbus Fire medics arrived and transported ADULT #1 to a local hospital, where ADULT #1 was pronounced deceased at 1:01 PM. A separate victim, ADULT #2, was self-transported to a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds from this same incident. ADULT #2 was pronounced deceased at 1:14 PM.

Upon arrival, officers found 21 year old Chrishon Fisher suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Mifflin Township Medic 132 personnel responded and pronounced Mr. Fisher deceased at 3:31 AM. It is still not determined what led up to the shooting, and the incident is under investigation.

CFD Medic 10 responded and transported the victim to Grant Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 3:32am.
