This project will re-construct streets using permeable pavement at the following intersections:
The goal of the project is to provide detention and water quality improvement to rain water that will be redirected from the sanitary sewer system by future Blueprint projects. For more information about Blueprint Columbus, please see the website at the following link https://www.columbus.gov/utilities/projects/blueprint/.
The estimated construction cost is approximately $1.6 million, and construction is anticipated to begin second quarter of 2023 and last 540 days.
Financing is being provided through a below market-rate loan through the OEPA's Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) Program. Prior to granting this loan, the Ohio EPA required a detailed submittal from the Division of Sewerage and Drainage to determine the project's eligibility.
