Utility Discount Programs

Low Income & Senior Citizen Discounts

Water Discount
Those who qualify will receive a 25% discount off water & sewer usage charges and a one-time credit of $65. Seniors 60 and older can also qualify to have their service charges waived.  

Power Discount
Those who qualify will receive a 25% discount off power usage charges and a one-time credit of $50. Seniors 60 and older can also qualify to have their service charges waived.

You can apply and upload supporting documents online for these programs using one stream-lined application:

• Single Family Property: Apply online or print and mail a copy to of the Single Family Application(PDF, 174KB).
• Multi Family Property: Multi Unit Brochure/Application(PDF, 194KB) to print & mail.
• Spanish Language (Water) - Single Family Property: Programa de Descuento por Bajo Ingreso para Cargos de Agua y Cloaca(PDF, 871KB) (en Espanol - para imprimir y enviar por correo)
• Spanish Language (Power) - Single Family Property: Programas de descuento de energia(PDF, 3MB) (en Espanol - para imprimir y enviar por correo) 

Qualifying Income Levels for these Programs

Qualification is based on the income of all household members over 18. The maximum gross income follows:

The above income limits are based on 200% of the current federal poverty level and are updated annually in February. NOTE: If you are enrolled in other low income programs such as SNAP, Ohio Medicaid, HEAP, etc., you can still qualify for our program regardless of the income table above.
