Automated Information Line

Information about parking tickets, vehicle impoundment and more is available by calling the PVB automated information line at (614) 645-6400. If you believe your vehicle has been towed, you may call the line to see if it is in our impoundment lot.

Paying Your Ticket   
 
You must pay within ten (10) calendar days of the date on the ticket or a $15.00 penalty is added.  If the ticket is still not paid within 30 days of the penalty being added, an additional $20.00 penalty is added.  You may pay by cash, check, money order, credit or debit card (Visa, Master Card or Discover), see below for options.

By Mail

Make your check or money order payable to  Columbus City Treasurer (DO NOT SEND CASH!) and send to:

Parking Violations Bureau

Be sure to include the ticket number or the vehicle license plate on your check or money order.
 
In Person

Payments are accepted at the Parking Violations Bureau; 2700 Impound Lot Rd.; Columbus, Ohio 43207.  

HOURS:  Monday thru Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.,  closed Sundays

Closed Holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
We will be open on Veterans Day. 

By Phone  

Call (614) 645-6400 to pay by phone with a credit or debit card only. You will need your parking ticket number.

Claiming a towed vehicle
You will need the following:

  • Proof of ownership – (registration or title)
  • Identification
  • Tags must be current
  • Fees in cash or credit card

 

How can I contest a ticket?

You must contest a ticket within ten (10) calendar days from the issue date of the ticket.  If you do not contest your parking ticket or payment is not received within ten (10) days, the first penalty will be added to the amount that is due.  You may either contest the ticket using the link below, in writing, by U.S. mail to the address below, or by completing a form in person at the Parking Violations Bureau; 2700 Impound Lot Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43207

If after review, you still believe there is an error, you may request a personal hearing.
