Program Information Caring for 2 is CriticalHealth System Action PlanAll Babies Matter Publications Resources and Links
HoursMon - Fri8:00 am - 5:00 pm and by appointment
Caring for 2 is one of 102 federally funded Healthy Start Projects in the nation working to improve birth outcomes for African American women, and to help build a coordinated local health system for maternal and infant health.
Important issues addressed include: infant mortality, low birth weight, and racial disparities in birth outcomes.
Caring for 2 is a team of community care coordinators, public health nurses and licensed social workers.
Services are provided free of charge to the women in the program.
