Cross the street at the crosswalk.  Cars have to stop for walkers at the crosswalk. NEVER cross in-between cars - they can't see you!

Left-Right-Left before stepping out into the street.   Look both ways for cars.

Always walk on the sidewalk. If there are no sidewalks, walk facing traffic.
