2008 Police Summer Strike Force Kicking Off
The City is building upon three years of pro-active neighborhood policing that led to 2,187 arrests and took 449 crime guns off the streets by launching the 2008 Police Summer Strike Force. Today, Mayor Michael B. Coleman joined Councilmember Andrew Ginther, the Division of Police and residents to discuss the new season’s plans and praise Officers for their dedication.

Dozens of bike riding commuters came together at the Ohio Statehouse this morning with Consider Biking, Mayor Michael B. Coleman and City Councilmember Maryellen O’Shaughnessy to hear details on the City’s 20-year Bicentennial Bikeways Plan.
