periodically receive solicitations for private property water, sewer and
electrical insurance plans, which often prompts calls our Customer Service Center. The
answer to this frequently asked question is that the city has no partnership or
affiliation with any of these companies and therefore takes no position on
them. Like anything else, buyer beware and be sure to read the fine print.
Homeowners are responsible for their home service lines and the city maintains
the public lines up to the point of that private property service connection.
