Citywide Occupational Safety and Health Program (COSHP)
It is the responsibility of the City of
Columbus to provide a safe work environment. The City’s safety philosophy, and
its success in preventing workplace injuries, is grounded in the fundamental
principle that safety is among the highest of our core values. All City
employees are responsible and accountable for preventing injuries. The
citywide occupational safety and health program (COSHP) strives to achieve this
by maintaining a comprehensive, integrated occupational safety and health
program that promotes a safe and healthy working environment for all City
employees. COSHP staff share a personal and professional commitment to
protecting the safety and health of our employees, our customers, and our
visitors.
