2015 RED, WHITE & BOOM INFORMATION
Genoa Park is part of the massive
"Scioto Greenways Construction Project." This park will be undergoing
major renovations until 2016. Please plan trips to this area accordingly. For
additional information about this project, and how it will affect the Battelle
Riverfront Park, visit www.downtowncolumbus.com.
Genoa Park is located in downtown Columbus on the West bank of the Scioto River and is part of the Scioto Mile park family.
Named after the sister city in Italy, Genoa Park is also commonly referred to as the Riverfront Amphitheater. As the park's main feature, the Riverfront Amphitheater attracts visitors for numerous events, concerts, and festivals.
Besides being the home to some of Columbus' most popular events, Genoa Park is located right next to COSI, the Center of Science and Industry, in downtown Columbus. COSI brings in both tourists and locals of all ages for a fun, educational experience. Genoa Park also provides a relaxing, scenic hang out for COSI visitors.
